289. Hayabusa2 MASCOT ejection

A screenshot of ISAS site as of before noon today.
To look at the Hayabusa shadow is always awesome.
Looks like the Haya2 enabled the Franco-German MASCOT to land safely.

288. Hana-okura (flower okra)

A flower of okra. Its diameter is as much as 20 cm. At a field behind the parking lot of Makata shrine in Daikata, Narita.
The flower of ordinary okra is smaller, and this is for hana-okura (flower okra), or tororo-aoi (sunset hibiscus). It is said that the flower is for eating rather than the green pod.

286. Murasaki-sikibu

Murasaki-sikibu at Aoba-no-mori park.
As website information says that those with a cluster of fruits in arch like fashion as in the photo is not Murasaki-sikibu, but Komurasaki, another name Kosikibu, this one seems to be the latter.

284. Antiseismic reinforcement
The route 16 bridge over the Shin river had been under renovation until this summer. The works look like for the antiseismic reinforcement.
As in the photos, the pier width widened, and heavy chains at both ends prevent the bridge beams from falling into the river, even if they are dislocated.

282. Start of equinox week
Approaching the autumn equinox reminds us of higan-bana (cluster amaryllis) and we wonder if it already started blooming.
Tomorrow the 20th is the beginning of equinox week, and we can see the showy red flowers here and there.
This morning I foud white higan-bana quietly blooming at the corner of a vacant lot in front of our place. The herb could have been here for years, but I never noticed. The white one is rare and it doesn't last long, I hastily took the photos.

281. Wandering mate

My wandering mate. Bridgestone Cycle, type CHeRO.
Vehicle of the future is not a hybrid car, nor hydrogen car, let alone fuel-cell car. As for the fuel-cell, it has already passed 50 years after the repeated wordings, another 5 years and yet another 5. The future vehicle is to be an ultra-light bicycle.

280.@For waterfowl & steelworks as well

At the sluice gate of JFE Steel. Here water birds are always resting. Today's guests are a gray heron, spot]billed ducks and a great cormorant.
It is about 25 km to the steelworks from here. Its nearby place where a significant amount of fresh water is constantly obtained is, as imagined, Inba marsh.
